The HIGHLIGHT project produced and syndicated a series of broadcast-quality videos based on EU-funded research.
The goal of HIGHLIGHT was to select a number of newsworthy EU-funded projects and pitch their stories to European TV broadcasters. Registered broadcasters received a complete video news release package including a teaser, B-rolls and detailed documentation. As a parte of a multidisciplinary team we managed the production of video materials in different languages to be distributed through the European Broadcaster Union (EBU) Major TV channels in Europe used the material to produce news and feature stories, helping to highlight the work of EU-funded researchers and disseminating knowledge about many health-related topics. Additionally, the project involved the production of a wide range of content including interviews, web clips, Youtube videos and articles.

The HIGHLIGHT project showcased selected health projects using the impact of major TV broadcasters and the web. As the Editorial Manager, I was in charge of overseeing the selection of projects and the production of content, coordinating a team of talented journalists and crews across Europe. It was a thrilling and complex endeavor that demanded organizational skills and adaptability to unforeseen circumstances. The content was extensively used by broadcasters and conveyed the importance of research to the public.
