IPODD (an acronym for “Intestinal Proteases: Opportunity for Drug Discovery”) is a consortium funded by the EU seventh framework program (FP7). The project has put together the expertise of 13 research teams across seven countries. IPODD’s work focused on inflammatory bowel diseases (IBDs) and pursued basic studies about the mechanism and the therapeutic perspectives.
